Songs of the Seer

Steammother Odysseia has ordered the Provincial Union of Jorn to war against the neutral Territory of Huff, in an attempt to harvest more of the planet’s most valuable energy source: Aether. As the Huffians attempt to defend their homeland, an unlikely ally from Odysseia’s past offers them the power they need to bring the Icarian forces to heel. But such power comes at a price.

A collection of Steampunk inspired stories by local New Brunswick theatre artists, Songs of the Seer is an ambitious imagining of how two fictional cultures might collide, and then, against all odds, attempt to carry on.

The Next Folding Theatre Company's ninth creative collaboration, Songs of the Seer, brings over ten years of unpredictably random local artistry to an end. Leaving New Brunswickers with perhaps the most important question ever asked: "Bop bop bop?"
